Length and width are listed under Details and dimensions on every necklace and bracelet, so you can check them against something he owns. The Toni Locket comes on an 18 inch or a 22 inch chain, and the Remi Rope Cuff in 57mm or 66mm.
Metals
Sterling silver is solid all the way through. Gold vermeil is recycled 14K gold over sterling. Solid gold is for the pieces worn every day for years.

Nearly everything here comes in recycled 925 sterling silver as well as vermeil, at a lower price. The Olive Double Chain Bracelet and the St. Christopher are both a good place to start.
