Rings

Our rings run from a size 3 to a size 11. Most styles are made in 5 to 10, the signets and the solid gold rings in 6 to 11, and the pinky rings in 3 to 8.

Three ways to find your size

1. Measure a ring you already wear. Lay it flat and measure straight across the inside, edge to edge, in millimetres. Match that to the inside diameter below. This is the most reliable thing you can do at home.
2. Measure your finger. Cut a strip of paper about 5mm wide, wrap it snugly around the base of your finger, mark where it meets, then lay it flat against a ruler. That figure is your inside circumference.
3. Print our sizer. It is at the bottom of this page, with both a paper strip and a set of circles to lay a ring over.

On fit

• Fingers are at their largest at the end of the day and in warm weather. Measure then, not first thing in the morning.
• A wide band sits tighter than a thin one. On the Natalie Thick Dome, the Harper Chunky and the signets, take the larger size if you are between two.
• If your knuckle is much wider than the base of your finger, size for the knuckle. The ring has to get past it.
• Solid gold and sterling silver can be resized by a local jeweler. Vermeil cannot, because resizing breaks the gold layer, so it is worth measuring twice.

Necklace lengths

Where a chain sits depends on your height and build as much as on the length. On an average adult frame:

• 15 to 16 inches sits at the base of the neck.
• 18 inches sits just below the collarbone. This is the length most people own.
• 20 inches sits at the top of the sternum, and layers cleanly over an 18.
• 22 inches sits mid chest, and reads best over a shirt or a knit.

What we make

Bracelets, cuffs and the anklet

Chain bracelets are made in 7 and 8 inches, most of them adjustable or with an extender. To find your size, wrap a strip of paper around your wrist just below the wrist bone, mark it and measure it flat, then add about half an inch so it moves.

A cuff is open at the back, so it eases on and can be pressed very gently to fit. Open and close it as little as you can, since metal fatigues where it bends. The Ruby bangle is closed, so it has to pass over the widest part of your hand.

Drop length is the measurement people misjudge most, so every earring page carries its total length in millimetres under Details and dimensions. For a sense of the range:

Print at home

Print this section at 100%, with any scale to fit or shrink to fit setting turned off, then check the 50mm bar before you measure anything. If it is wrong, the sizes will be too.
